River Spey runs approx 106 miles in length within the North East of Scotland.
Relaxed view at the town of Aviemore.
The River Spey rises in Loch Spey on Corrieyairack Forest, 10 miles south of
Fort Augustus. It flows East past Laggan, then North East through
Newtonmore and Kingussie, passing through Stathspey and into Loch Insh. It
continues North East winding by Aviemore (pictured), and Grantown on Spey then
turning Northwards towards Charlestown of Aberlour then past Rothes to Spey Bay
on Moray First at Kingston.
This is without doubt one of the most relaxing walks you could ever ask for!
