Banton, South Stirling Banton Loch, only 1 mile from Kilsyth is significant for its bait or fly fishing for either brown or rainbows, but only from the bank and from March till October.	nr Killearn and River Endrick March – October . Campsie Cottage have their own fishing rights on the River Endrick. However this is a spate river and the best fishing is in September and October.
