Hillwalking Coire an Dothaidh

If you feel that you have the time, an interesting deviation from your path on the West Highland Way, at Bridge of Orchy, is to tackle the Coire an Dothaidh, which is basically a ravine or gully, separating Beinn Dorain and Beinn Dothaidh

entrance to Loch Morlich

On reaching Bridge of Orchy station on the Way, instead of making your way down to the village, search out a path at the end of the station, which can easily be seen making its route up the coire. A one hour traverse up the coire and an hour back down is rewarded with views of Loch Tulla and some of the mountains around the Blackmount and if you keep your eyes peeled, a few deer sightings may be possible. Easy worthwhile walk..
