Hill Walking throughout Scotland

 WALK THE WALK

Hi everybody and welcome to my Scottish Hillwalking website, before you ask I'm not related to the famous one, ( that's Sean, for the hard of thinking). I'm Tony Connery and as the title tells you the site is basically about my Hillwalking experiences in Scotland, From Glen Luss to Pitlochry, from the Trossachs to the Gorms including Lochs, Glens, Villages and Mountains.
Tony Connery almost at the Top of Creag Choinnich!.
On this website you will find details of my experiences of Hill Walking in areas that are well known and some which are not. Scottish Mountains, Valleys, Glens, Moors, Lochs all play their part in what must be some of the most relaxing and breathtaking views I have ever came across in my Life.  I have divided this website into different areas of which I have enjoyed some great walking days with my dog Shona and I have included pages on Accommodation, Fishing, Golf and Local Attraction within each area.

The duration of the walks here are only my recommendations and certainly the areas included here have many more other activities going on apart from walking, so you may choose your own length of stay and where you stay, be it caravan, hotel or campsite. Me,  I'm a tent and stove man.
Please be careful as hill walking in Scotland can be strenuous while it can be relaxing in this our temperamental Scottish Climate. Please always do your research on the area you intend to travel and always be prepared.
If you believe there is something interesting in the area that I have missed or not included in this website, get in touch and I will try to accommodate.

Public transport in Scotland is very reliable, be it Bus or Train or if you want to spoil yourself, what about some long distance travel with Glasgow Airport Taxis, ride in comfort.

This website is dedicated to my passion - Walking throughout Scotland.
I have tried to share my experiences with you, in the hope that you will have some idea where to walk and what to look out for on your travels. This is not an Official Guide
but use only as a helpful hints & ideas to get you through the terrain.
